Why this pet is the one for you:uchess is a gentle, easy-to-handle cat who has shown a calm and tolerant nature with handling. She accepts pets and can be picked up without issue, but is currently shy and still adjusting to the shelter environment. Since arriving, Duchess prefers to stay in her hide and may show mild signs of stress (tense body, tucked posture). She has allowed gentle interaction but is not fully comfortable yet, so she will benefit from a patient, low-stress home where she can settle in at her own pace. Duchess would do best with an adopter who can provide time, routine, and a quiet environment to help her build confidence.
