Meet West, a beautiful tortie girl (estimated DOB 7/14/2025) who has already been through more than most kittens her age. West is still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. She can be a bit shy at first, especially in new environments or with unfamiliar people, but beneath that cautious exterior is a gentle, curious girl who just needs a little time to come out of her shell. In her foster home, she’s been slowly building confidence each day. West enjoys quiet companionship, cozy spots to relax, and watching the world go by from a safe perch. She loves playing with feather toys and pets. With patience and a calm home, she has all the potential to blossom into a loyal and loving companion. If you have a soft spot for the underdogs and the reward of earning a shy cat’s trust sounds like your kind of love story, West is waiting for you! West was found abandoned near a parking lot alongside her littermate, North, and safely trapped by a dedicated rescue partner who gave her a chance at a better life. Because of her shy nature, West would do best with an adopter who understands that trust takes time and is willing to go at her pace. A quieter household (and certainly a familiar feline friend like her sister, North) could help her continue to thrive.
