Rescued from a feral colony in Newburgh, he came to us with a severe eye infection that sadly led to a rupture. The best path forward was removing the eye, and now he’s thriving with his one good eye and a whole lot of resilience. About 6 months old, Vance is a sweet, gentle guy who can be a little shy when you first meet him. Once he feels safe, his affectionate and curious personality starts to shine through. He finds comfort in other cats and would do best in a home with a calm, friendly feline companion, ideally a mellow older cat who can show him the ropes and help him build confidence. Vance is neutered, vaccinated, and ready for his forever home. He’s looking for a patient adopter within a 50-mile radius of New Windsor, NY who will give him the time and love he needs to fully blossom.
