Splash is a 72-pound adult male American Bulldog who recently came to us as a stray in our stray hold, so we're still getting to know all the wonderful things about him. What we do know is that he walks nicely with a harness and enjoys getting out to explore with his people. Since Splash is still settling in, his full personality is just starting to shine through. He's taking everything in stride and learning the routine, and we're excited to watch him continue to blossom. With a little time, patience, and love, Splash has all the potential to become a loyal and devoted companion. If you're looking for a dog you can grow with and help shape into your perfect partner, Splash might be your guy. Foster Update 5/25/2026: Meet Splash — one of the sweetest, most easygoing dogs I've had the pleasure of spending time with. I've taken Splash out on multiple Doggie Day Outs, including an overnight stay, and he has been nothing short of amazing every time. He is calm, affectionate, well behaved, and incredibly easy to be around. Splash loves attention and companionship, but he also has a very relaxed and gentle personality that makes him a great fit for simply hanging out at home, going for rides, or relaxing by your side. He is a big and strong boy and was friendly, loving, and well-mannered throughout our time together and truly just seems happy to be included. Splash is very good in the car, has a very comforting presence and quickly makes himself right at home. Anyone looking for a loyal, calm, and affectionate companion should absolutely meet him. He's a really special dog and deserves a great home. I would love to have him for my own but, unfortunately, it is just not a good fit for my current situation. Update 5/29/2026: Splash is our overlooked MVP Dumped at our facility, but somehow still convinced the whole world is his best friend. From day one, all Splash wanted was to curl up as close as possible—head in a lap, on our shoes, anywhere he could be touching his people. Nothing has changed.
