About Mo

Mo, affectionately known as Mr. Moo, is a two-year-old Labrador Retriever/Beagle mix who’s proven just how much resilience lives in a dog. He came from a rough past where the world felt dangerous and unfamiliar, but life in his foster home turned things around. Once uncertain and withdrawn, Mo has become the ultimate Velcro dog—always close, never wanting to let his humans out of sight. He’s both crate and house trained, so the basics are covered. Mo picks up commands easily, especially when snacks are involved, and he keeps himself entertained with toys and chews instead of destructive antics. There’s an affectionate, mellow side to Mo; he’s happiest lounging near his people and just soaking up a calm environment. While Mo still takes a little time to warm up to new faces, his trust runs deep once it’s earned. He gets along with other dogs, especially gentle females, and would settle best in a home with older kids who understand he’s still learning to trust the world. Mo doesn’t crave chaos or constant excitement—just a rhythm where he can relax, join in for a walk, and nap in his favorite spot. After all the ups and downs, he’s simply searching for someone who wants a loyal, gentle friend. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
