About Apache
Apache’s story started on the back roads outside Catoosa, where he was spotted weaving through traffic, fending for himself with more luck than sense. Thankfully, rescue came before any real trouble found him. Now this brindle cattle dog/pit mix is looking for someone who will stick by him for good. Trust doesn’t come easy for Apache. He sizes people up carefully. But if you earn his trust, he offers intense loyalty. Expect a shadow who’s all in, every day. Toys, though? Destruction mission. Give Apache a new ball, and give it five minutes. He seems convinced he’s on Amazon’s payroll boosting ball sales. Only a steel ball stands a chance. He’s still learning leash manners. Treats are the best motivator (hot dogs work magic). He’s got a comical sploot, makes oddball ice cream swirl poops, and manages to find a laugh in just about any situation. Apache needs someone patient with a sense of humor—and probably a steady stash of tough toys. He’s still figuring out how to relax and just be a dog, but he’s eager for a fresh start. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
