Chanel and 35 other dogs were living with a homeless man in Tulare, CA their ENTIRE lives! They had never been indoors or interacted with other humans other than the man for their entire existence. Because of this, Chanel can be very shy when meeting new people as the world and civilization are still so new to her. Once she's in a home she may take a few days or longer to warm up but once she does she becomes the biggest cuddle bug ever! She loves other dogs, is cat friendly and very submisive and docile. Chanel thrives in a home with a backyard and access to the outside as that's how she grew up. Her potty training is still a work in progress but she's super smart and learning fast! She may not make the best first impression during a meet and greet because she can be so shy but we promise if you choose Chanel, you'll be so happy that you did!
