Izzy is a happy, one-year-old sweetheart who came to HSSW through no fault of her own and is ready for a fresh start. She’s a social, loving girl who has done wonderfully with children ages 10 and up, and she previously lived with another dog successfully. Izzy could thrive as a family companion or even as a farm dog—she absolutely loves being outside and soaking up the fresh air. She’s both kennel-trained and housetrained, and already knows a few basic commands. Izzy is eager to please and enjoys learning, especially when she’s spending time with her people. For mealtime, she does best being fed alone in her kennel, where she feels safe and comfortable. With her sweet personality and adaptable nature, Izzy is sure to make a wonderful addition to the right home.
