Bean is a female domestic short-haired cat, about 4 years and 3 months old, located in Newark, DE. Although she’s a large cat with a striking black and white coat, she is special, as she is FIV positive. House trained and altered, she is looking for a loving home where she can flourish with other cats. Bean is not suited for homes with children or dogs, but she is affectionate and enjoys quiet companionship.

About Bean

Meet Bean, our adorably toothless lady! Rescued as a stray, her past is a mystery. It took time for her to discover the joy of comfy beds, reflecting her initially nervous demeanor. While she can be anxious around new people and a bit awkward, Bean starts to shine once she feels comfortable, particularly enjoying playtime with wand toys. She has a special fondness for lickable treats, given her lack of teeth. Bean is incredibly affectionate, especially towards other cats, and ideally needs to be adopted with one or into a household with furry friends. Her personality can best be described as 'Adorkable'β€”a charming mix of lovable awkwardness that makes her unique. Being FIV+, her immune system is a little compromised, meaning she requires some extra care, but this doesn't hold her back from living a happy life. We don't recommend a home with young children or active dogs as she thrives in a quieter environment. Interested in adopting? Bean is ready to find her forever home!
