Cinder is a female Domestic Short Hair kitten with a soft tabby and white coat and a medium build. She is currently too young to be spayed or fully vaccinated and is not yet house trained. Cinder is located in Fredericksburg, VA and is looking for a family who can support her care as she grows.

About Cinder

Cinder showed up under a parked car—a tough spot for a kitten her size—but now she’s settling into the safety of foster care. She may be just three weeks old, but she’s already full of kitten antics. Expect naps, bouts of silliness, and plenty of curiosity as Cinder gets her footing in the world. She’ll be ready for adoption at about eight weeks old, around May 15, 2026. Because she’ll be so young, she’ll have only received her first FVRCP vaccine. It’s important that any resident cats are fully up to date on their distemper and rabies shots to keep Cinder safe. If she joins your family before 16 weeks, you’ll be responsible for finishing her vaccine boosters and scheduling her spay procedure at 6–9 months. Proof of surgery and vaccines will be expected, but the rescue can recommend low-cost clinics if needed. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
