Meet Hazel 💕 Your Tiny Shadow With the Biggest Heart Hazel is an 8–9 month old micro pitty with the most beautiful brown and blue markings that make her truly unforgettable. At around 35 pounds, she has mastered the adorable art of curling herself into the tiniest little cuddle ball, usually right next to your head at bedtime so she can be as close to her person as possible. Hazel is what we call a “shadow dog.” Wherever you go, she happily tags along. She loves being part of everyday life and will quietly sit nearby watching you do laundry, helping carry tools, or supervising whatever project you’re working on like your very own tiny assistant. She also enjoys playing fetch, holding your hand, and spending time with her people and dog friends. Hazel has wonderful manners and is already: • Crate trained • Potty trained • Walks nicely on a leash • Great with kids of all ages • Great with dogs of all sizes While we don’t know much about Hazel’s life before rescue, we suspect she may not have always been treated kindly. Because of that, she can be a little nervous when meeting men for the first time and may cower or lay down when someone tries to pick her up. But despite that, Hazel is incredibly gentle and loving. With patience, kindness, and reassurance, she continues to grow more confident every day. All Hazel really needs is a home where she can feel safe, loved, and part of the family. Given time and affection, we believe this sweet girl will blossom into an even braver and happier companion.
