He seemed so quiet & reserved when he was captured, that we thought he surely must’ve been someone’s cat that got out. He didn’t act afraid, but he wasn’t overly social with us right away either. We searched social media sites & scanned him for a chip with no luck. So we got him neutered & updated on shots & his other medical needs. He was supposed to be TNR’ed but lucky for him the snow took a long time to melt & we couldn’t bear to release him in such frigid temperatures. So he stayed in foster care during that time where he was with other cats, dogs & a mini pig. By the time the snow had melted, Jameson had decided that he’d rather be a social, friendly guy then dare be put back outside! He does great with other cats, he’s fine with dogs & seems to actually like the mini pig! He’s super friendly with his foster mom & dad, but a little shy at first with new faces. But warms up with a little time. He loves to play & loves to rub himself on his foster mom’s legs & up against the other animals. He’s really great & has come such a long way. He does have one weird quirk…when he’s rubbing on his foster mom’s legs, he sometimes gets a little too into it & if she doesn’t pay attention to him, he’ll give her a little nip on the back of her ankle for attention & then runaway. And then come back like it’s a game. 🤷🏻‍♀️ This behavior may not be for everyone, so figured we’d mention it. But other then that he’s awesome & just needs a home willing to give him lots of love & attention & bring him to his full potential. LJ is neutered, tested negative for FIV/Felv, on flea prevention, has been dewormed, fecal negative & up-to-date with his vaccines. 🐾.His adoption fee is $150 & is a tax deductible donation.
