Ham is a brown and white Shepherd puppy currently in Tuba City, AZ. He’s about 4.5 months old and already neutered, with all his puppy vaccinations up to date. Ham is the largest of his litter but remains compact due to his short legs. As a baby, he’s in the early stages of training and has started socializing with both dogs and cats.

About Ham

Ham the Chunk is the biggest pup in his litter, but thanks to those short legs, he’s just a compact little guy with some extra presence. Most of the time, he’d rather curl up and use a stuffed animal as a pillow than chase it across the room. Ham knows how to find a warm lap and settle in for a nap and prefers quiet company over rowdy games. His foster has focused on getting him out and about—he made the rounds at an adoption event and took regular field trips to pet stores. He’s excellent on car rides, calm and settled. Ham is at the age where he’s soaking up training. He’s working on basic commands like “sit,” started leash walking, and is figuring out potty routines. In his foster home, Ham lives comfortably with both dogs and cats and gets along well with everyone. He’d be happiest as the foot-warmer for someone who works from home, napping nearby and stepping in for attention when you need a break. At just 4.5 months old, Ham is already neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his puppy shots. Capricorns like Ham are known for their steady, chill nature. Ready to meet your new best friend?
