About Nena
Nena is a senior American Bulldog mix who’s just starting her second act. She landed with rescue after a difficult stint at animal control, arriving in rough shape with a ruptured mass that’s now scheduled for surgery. While her early story is a mystery—the tags she wore led nowhere—it’s clear she once belonged, and she deserves to belong again. Despite these hurdles, Nena is thriving in her foster home. She’s about seven years old and weighs around 39 pounds. Her foster says she’s easy to live with: she barks to ask to go outside, loves her naps as much as her bursts of playful energy, and grazes politely on food. She enjoys plush toys (especially ones with stuffing) and is unfailingly waggy and happy. Nena is fine being alone during the day or sharing a home with someone who works remotely. She isn’t the marathon runner type, but she’s a sprinter at heart. Born on September 11th, Nena is a practical and loyal Virgo—true to the type, she appreciates order and comfort. Give this girl a safe place to rest and she’ll reward you with gratitude. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
American Bulldog mixes like Nena appreciate a yard but don't require vast space. Regular walks and room to stretch are plenty, especially since she's more of a sprinter than a marathon runner.
