Meet Luke! 🐾 Luke is a 10-month-old Pit Bull puppy with a special difference — he’s deaf, we do think he may be able to partially hear in 1 ear.. But that doesn’t slow him down at all! Luke is already learning hand command signals with visual cues (similar to ASL), and he’ll come with a guide to help his new family communicate with him. Luke is playful, affectionate, and very people-oriented. He loves playing tug-of-war, chasing balls, and cuddling with his humans. He does great with children and enjoys playing with his foster siblings. Because he relies on visual communication, he’s looking for a patient adopter willing to continue his training and help him build confidence. He is a very friendly and is incredibly loving and loyal. He thrives playing with other dogs them especially if they are younger with lots of energy. He does have some quirks — stairs and heights can be confusing for him, and he may need help getting down from furniture or out of a car — but with guidance and consistency he continues to improve every day.
