About Jalapeno & Habanero

Meet JalapeƱo and Habanero, a mother and son pair whose connection is unmistakable. JalapeƱo, a striking tuxedo cat, arrived after losing the rest of her litter, fiercely protecting her only surviving kitten, Habanero. Over time, she has started to trust again, transforming from wary to more gentle and affectionate as she's realized her baby is finally safe. Habanero, now a 6-month-old tabby, is the picture of happiness—curious, playful, and endlessly sweet, lighting up the room with his energy. These two have lived through enough loss, and their bond runs deep. For JalapeƱo, Habanero is her anchor; for Habanero, his mother is the heart of home. Separating them isn’t an option—they need to stay together. The ideal new home is low-key and quiet, somewhere they can settle in together without the fear of more upheaval. Habanero is great with other friendly, young cats, but mostly he just wants to be with his mom. With patience and a steady hand, JalapeƱo will likely continue to open up and become even more affectionate. Both are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, and have tested negative for FIV/FeLV. They are currently fostered in Southbury, CT but adoptable in Dayville, CT. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
