The Easter Bunny may be gone for another year but North Paw Rescue is still hoppin’! At least Hopper is. Hopper is an aussie/border collie mix who was born on Christmas Day and just as full of energy as you would expect from that combination of breeds. Hopper turned out to be the perfect name for this boy who often hops when greeting familiar people. He’s an active boy, of course, who will need an active home. He loves going on walks, exploring, and playtime. He likes other dogs, he likes cats (we can’t guarantee all cats like him though!), and he likes kids. He’s happy to play with any of the above and would likely really appreciate a dog sibling to keep him entertained and help show him the best way to be a Good Boy. Hopper is happy to cuddle but equally happy to be on his own for a bit. He’s taken to crate training like a champ and if you give him a nice safe bone or a tough stuffed toy to gnaw on he’ll keep himself occupied with those. Hopper is still working on his potty training but he’s making great progress. He’s also still learning that hopping up on people is not always welcome so he should try out some calmer greetings.
