Stanley!! Mr handsome Stan, the sweetest boy ever!! Weighing 55 pounds, and around a year old! This kind and gentle boy was rescued from a less than wonderful living situation, and brought in to our local shelter. Since being with us, we’ve learned how great of a dog Stanley is! Potty trained, crate trained, doggy door trained, LOVES other dogs, adores his humans, food motivated, receptive to corrections, and eager to please. He’s a sensitive sweet soul, with a big heart of gold. He wants to be by your side at all times, so teaching him to be off leash won’t take long! He knows basic commands, and is willing and ready to learn more! Stanley is a snuggly boy, he loves cuddling up and taking a snooze. He is the perfect energy level for a young dog! He loves to play with his dog friends, and gets the zoomies, but mellows out fast, and gets with the program when it’s time to chill! He has great leash, and house manners. Great with dogs of all sizes, and has done good with cats, but will need a savvy cat and slow intros. His ideal home would be someone looking for a loyal gentle dog, who’s patient and willing to help him grow into his full potential. He is still working on becoming more confident… he would thrive in a home with lots of love and consistency. He’s a love sponge, and gravitates towards positive reassurance and kindness. He would be great company for someone who’s home often and just needs a buddy, or if you’re looking for a socialized, dog friendly dog to add to your pack.
