About Ziggy
Ziggy is a 4-year-old neutered male Miniature Pinscher mix with a short black and tan coat. He came in with some behavior issues that mostly vanished after he had surgery in January to remove a painful, injured leg. These days, Ziggy loves attention and prefers to stay close, happily sitting on your foot for comfort, even if he's not quite ready to be a lap dog. Ziggy gets along well with other dogs, cats, and even chickens. He has also done well with respectful children, though he can get nervous if he feels cornered and may give a warning snark. Ziggy is crate trained and mostly housebroken, though he sometimes marks his territory. He’s currently in Pinellas Park, FL, and looking for someone who’ll appreciate his quirky, loyal company.
