Gem has a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), which means she was born with an underdeveloped cerebellum (the part of the brain that handles coordination). To put it simply: she's a "wobbly cat!" While she might stumble, tilt her head, or have some "flipper-like" steps, she isn't in any pain and her condition will never get worse. CH cats have a normal lifespan and a huge zest for life--they just navigate the world with a little extra flair. She'll need a home with carpet or rugs to help her grip, and a little extra supervision around stairs, but in return, she'll give you a lifetime of uniquely charming love.
