Meet Luna This sweet girl is looking for her forever home after her owner sadly passed away. She truly is an “easy button” kind of dog. Luna is estimated to be around 3–5 years old and has the calmest, most laid-back personality. She can be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe and learns to trust you, she becomes incredibly affectionate and loyal. She is incredibly sweet, absolutely loves giving kisses, and one of her favorite hobbies is begging for pets and soaking up belly rubs. She also loves carrying her toys around in her mouth, playing with her ball, and getting booty scratches — which will quickly make you her favorite person. A few things about Luna: - Completely potty trained - Non-destructive in the home - Very dog friendly and takes cues from other dogs well - Would do great in a home with another dog to help build her confidence - Kid friendly, though she would likely do best in a calmer home with older children - Does great on walks - Loves relaxing and just being near her people Luna has been through a lot of change recently, and she deserves a loving, patient home where she can feel safe again. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
