She's also delightfully vocal and isn't shy about letting you know when she's ready for attention, pets, or snuggles. Calliope was not born with vision issues - she was a normal, happy, bouncy kitten until about 6 months old, but unfortunately, she experienced a rare side effect while under anesthesia when she was spayed where she went blind and her vision never fully returned. We think she sees something, but even fully blind cats live completely normal lives due to their whiskers and other heightened senses that help them manuever in their surroundings.
