Gaia is affectionate and pet and food motivated. She is potty trained and crate trained but prefers to chill by your side or look out the window, keeping an eye on the neighborhood to keep you safe. She comes when called and isn’t destructive at all which is rare for younger dogs. But Gaia just wants a soft place to land. She is unsure about being on a leash and freezes up so would prefer to have a home with a fenced in yard. She has shown tremendous ability to learn and already knows sit after just a few days! Gaia definitely needs to be an only dog as she is not dog friendly. Besides her lack of leash skills and preference to be the only dog in the home, Gaia is super low maintenance! Park her in front of the window and give her love and pets and she will be your best friend. This beautiful girl is hoping to hang up her mama duties soon—it’s her turn to get spoiled! Gaia is at risk for euthanasia due to the current shelter capacity. Currently the shelter is above capacity to adequately house and care for animals.
