Laura Lei and her sister Cammy have been through a lot together and are inseparable. Both are five-year-old long-haired tuxedo cats with a strong sense of loyalty to each other after surviving abandonment outdoors. Laura Lei, who has shorter dwarf-like legs, is timid and tends to hide unless Cammy is close by. She’s always been the more reserved of the two, while Cammy offers courage and curiosity, happily bird-watching from a window or showing bursts of playfulness when she feels safe. These sisters lost their kittens early on to predators, which only deepened their connection. Once rescued separately from life outdoors, they were carefully reunited by a foster who saw how much comfort they gave each other. Now spayed and back together, they’re looking for a patient, quiet home that will let them settle in at their own pace. Laura Lei is gentle and keeps her coat tidy, needing only occasional brushing, while Cammy tolerates extra help when it comes to grooming. These two need to be adopted as a bonded pair and would benefit from an experienced adopter familiar with shy or sensitive cats.
