About Peculiar Pecan
Peculiar Pecan is a 12-year-old spayed female Tortoiseshell with a short, scraggly coat that hints at her rough past. Found starving in a feral cat colony, she came in thin and with matted fur but has since become fully vetted and is up-to-date on vaccinations. During her exam, the vet found her teeth in bad condition, so she received a full mouth extraction—though she can still eat dry food without a problem. It's clear she was once someone's cat left to fend for herself, as she settled right into her foster room, purring and asking for pets the moment she felt safe. Pecan is a gentle, affectionate soul who can be timid and a bit shy at first, head-booping along the walls and seeking cozy places to nap. She enjoys vocalizing for treats and affection, often flopping near her foster parents' feet for attention. This sweet girl has had a hard life and deserves a quiet, loving home where her kind spirit can thrive. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
