About Tiana

Meet Princess Tiana, a lively and affectionate young Rottweiler in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Estimated to be between 1 and 2 years old, Tiana weighs in around 73 lbs and is full of playful, bouncy energy. She’s known in her foster home for zooming through rooms, sparking laughter as she skids across rugs or nudges a couch during a burst of excitement. While she adores attention and wants nothing more than to cuddle up with her people, she does have a sensitive streak—unexpected noises and new places can spook her at first. Because of this, a quieter environment with a fenced yard is ideal, or leashed walks until she’s fully comfortable. Tiana gets along well with other friendly dogs who can match her “rough-and-tumble” play style and has met cats, though she’s a bit too much for most felines. She’s great with kids over 8, simply due to her size and exuberance—she wouldn’t want to topple anyone! Though not quite housetrained yet, she keeps her kennel clean, pottying outside without fuss, and is still fine-tuning her routine in a new home. Tiana loves belly rubs, wrestling sessions, and is treat-motivated—she already knows "sit" and is learning leash manners. With experienced large-breed adopters and plenty of space, she will blossom into the devoted, goofy companion she’s meant to be. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
