About Skye

Skye is a young lab mix with a gentle soul and an abundance of love to share. Initially a bit timid around new faces, she quickly transforms into a cuddly companion once she feels at ease. This affectionate girl particularly enjoys the company of women and children, and would thrive in a patient environment that supports her confidence-building journey. Skye is full of energy and walks exceptionally well on a leash. She shines during public meet-and-greet events, showcasing her sweet demeanor. Here's a few comments from the summer volunteer walkers: Skye loves her walks and holds her tail high and wagging as she sniffs along the paths. She's very interested in all the smells and the sight of chipmunks. She walks right beside you mostly, sits well for treats and is learning spin, shake and down. Skye watches you for commands and wants to learn. She's a very good girl and is spending time with men also! Skye loves time in the play yard, chasing the ball, doing zoomies and learning to follow and come. She is a joy to spend time with! If you're looking for a lab/retriever type dog, "Blue" Skye would be perfect for you!
