How this pet arrived: Beverly was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team. Why this pet is the one for you:Beverly is a beautiful German Shepherd mix with a gentle soul and a playful spark. She can be a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly and enjoys pets and affection once she feels comfortable. She has a bit of puppy still in her-sometimes jumpy, sometimes a little mouthy in a gentle, playful way-making her a fun mix of mature and silly. On walks, Beverly is easy to handle with a martingale collar and walks on a loose leash once she's outside. She may be curious or slightly reactive around other dogs indoors, but outside she's calm, observant, and happy to keep moving. She generally ignores strangers while walking and doesn't need treats to stay focused. Beverly would do great with an adopter who enjoys a little playful energy mixed with calm companionship. She's affectionate, eager to connect, and ready to settle into a home where she can feel safe, loved, and part of the family. At SDHS:Beverly has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed.
