How this pet arrived: This pet was brought in by a community member on January 24, 2026. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Loretta, a friendly sweetheart who loves being the center of attention! Loretta is a wiggly gal who requests lots of pets and scritches from her humans and enjoys sneaking onto laps for cuddles. She's well-mannered, too, although she much prefers people to other dogs. She maintains polite leash manners on walks when other dogs pass by, but she isn't interested in making new doggie friends, so she's hoping to be your one and only canine companion and should avoid dog parks or other off-leash venues. During her time with us, Loretta's been working hard on her housetraining skills, and she'll do best in a home where her training is continued with kindness and patience. If you've been looking for an affectionate companion for leisurely walks around the block or snuggles on the sofa, sweet Loretta may be just the dog for you!
