Purrfect Haven Cat Rescue & TNR received a call from a compassionate woman who had been feeding five social cats living in an abandoned, broken-down home through the winter. With the house scheduled for demolition, these cats were at risk of being left out with nowhere to go. We stepped in, got them fully vetted, and brought them into the safety of a loving foster home. Dally’s story is one of quiet resilience. After everything she endured—living in a dark, damp, unsafe home where people weren’t always kind—she arrived understandably shut down and unsure of the world around her. But through it all, her best friend Emerson (“Emmy”), a beautiful dilute calico, never left her side. Emmy gently comforted Dally, helping her feel safe again and reminding her she wasn’t alone. Now, Dally is beginning to blossom. She is incredibly sweet, gentle, and forms deep bonds with those she trusts. Her soft nature and loving heart make her truly special.
