Meet Kasi, a sweet 14-year-old spayed pup with a heart full of love and a spirit that truly defies her age! Kasi is a gentle, easygoing companion who gets along well with other dogs and cats. She absolutely adores kids—especially her current foster family’s 9- and 11-year-olds—and thrives on being around people. In fact, being close to her humans is her happiest place, so she’d do best in a home where someone is around most of the day, such as a retired person or someone who works from home. She’s fully housebroken and very trustworthy when left free roaming—no crate needed! While she’s not a fan of being crated (she may bark to let you know), she won’t be destructive. Kasi does have a bit of “selective hearing,” but she can still pick up higher-pitched sounds, and her vision is still quite good—she’ll happily follow you from room to room just to stay close. Don’t let her age fool you—Kasi still loves her walks and gets around beautifully. Most people are surprised to learn she’s 14 because she carries herself with such youthful energy and enthusiasm.
