Igmu
AvailableIgmu is a gray and white, short-haired domestic short hair cat with tabby markings, living in Wedgefield, SC. He is neutered, vaccinated, and house trained, and has a gentle temperament from his medium-sized frame. Igmu gets along well with other cats, dogs, and children. He is best suited for an indoor-only home.
About Igmu
Igmu came from a lively home bursting with both cats and dogs, so he has seen some things. When he landed in rescue, he surveyed the world from atop the cabinets like some skeptical little statue—you’d barely know he was there. After a period of watchful hiding, Igmu decided the perks were good: bottomless food, warm laps, a distinct lack of danger. Cue the real personality. He’s a talker. Igmu will meow back when you call his name, offer opinions about the day, and narrate his moves. Once the conversation pauses, he transforms into a full-throttle cuddler, molding himself onto laps and purring loud enough for everyone to hear. There’s a sweetly comedic side: he can switch from shy to total goofball, winning laughs and affection easily. Igmu gets along well with cats, dogs, and respectful children—everyone in the crowd is fine by him. He needs to be kept indoors (no exceptions), but that fits his comfort zone. If you want a loyal cat who’s equal parts commentator and couch companion, Igmu’s your guy. Cabinets are optional, but a willing lap is not. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
