AvailableAbout Chipper
Chipper is a 3- year old, 57 lb male Cattle Dog/Terrier mix. Chipper is currently located in South Texas and available for local adoption only. This handsome fellow is Chip or Chipper. He arrived courtesy of Animal Control, and shares his foster home with several foster dogs, an older child and cats. He enjoys playtime with his younger foster siblings, doesn't particularly like the cats, but he does enjoy going on walks. Chipper can be a little skittish, so he would do best with older children (teenage +) who can understand that he needs time to settle in and feel at home. He also is a bit leery of men, and is working on making positive connections while outdoors meeting new people. Chipper is crate trained and potty trained. Chipper is very devoted to his foster mom, and would love to form a new connection with an adopter in a quiet home. He is definitely a dog that needs a fenced backyard so he can zoom or just lounge around; he would not do well in a home without a fenced yard. He would also really enjoy having a dog friend around, it helps him feel more confident. Chipper would love the opportunity to join a quiet home where he can go on some walks and get some occasional socialization in order to blossom into the great dog he is meant to be. Our organization only adopts within the United States and Canada. Faith and Hope is an established rescue group based in Texas but delivers to multiple states on the East and West Coast. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and others, with placement in their adoptive family’s homes. Our $200 adoption donation includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies), spay/neuter, microchip. (Note: Chipper is not available for transport, only for local adoptions).
