Hermione is a sweet and playful girl who is ready to charm her way into your heart. Her previous family describes her as being very nice with everyone she meets, and she's the perfect mix of affectionate and fun. She loves to curl up on your lap for some quality cuddle time and will happily soak up all the head pets you're willing to give-purring all the while! This playful kitty enjoys staying active, so having toys and interactive playtime will help keep her happy and entertained. She also loves to scratch (as most cats do!), so providing a variety of scratching posts and surfaces will help her show off those natural instincts in all the right places. Hermione has lived with three young children before. While she was a bit nervous when things got loud, she still interacted and played with them, so she may do well in a home with kids who can respect her space and understand when she needs a little quiet time. She has not lived with other cats but did spend some time with a small Chihuahua and did well, so a slow introduction to new pets would be the best way to set her up for success. If you're looking for a loving, playful companion who will happily be your lap cat and your playmate, Hermione might just be the perfect match for you! Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully. Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available cats in the shelter.
