About Sourdough
Sourdough is a lively, 1-year-old terrier who is always ready for an adventure. On a recent neighborhood stroll with volunteers, Sourdough's eager personality came through—he’ll pull enthusiastically at first, but once he’s outside he settles into the walk. He’s athletic and shows a lot of curiosity about the world, even calmly watching bikes roll by without a fuss. This guy bonds quickly, especially with male volunteers, and loves to show off his playful side. Sourdough is still picking up his manners and could use an adopter who’s up for basic training with him. He is treat motivated, which will help make training a team effort. High energy and people-focused, Sourdough enjoys being at the center of attention—he thrives when surrounded by people willing to spend time with him. He’s likely best in a home with older children due to his strength and energy and seems friendly with other dogs, although his interactions with other animals are still being explored. Sourdough brings a lot of enthusiasm to every day and, with some consistency and guidance, he’ll make a terrific companion. Fun fact: Sourdough is an Aries, so it’s no wonder he’s full of energy and spirit. Click apply to start the adoption process.
