About Ginger
Ginger and Abby lost their home when their owner could no longer care for them, coming to the rescue together. Ginger didn’t handle the upheaval well at first—she was nervous and unsure when she arrived. In time, she settled in and her gentle personality has started to shine. Now she’s easygoing, affectionate, and seeks out attention from people she trusts. Ginger gets along well with other dogs. She isn’t house trained, most likely because neither dog was getting outdoors reliably before arriving at the shelter. Given her age, Ginger should be able to learn gentle routines quickly in a stable environment. She’s more mellow than Abby, which would make her a better fit for those wanting a calmer companion. Both girls are spayed, microchipped, up to date on core vaccines, and heartworm negative. Ginger and Abby can be adopted together or separately. Ready to meet them? Come by during open hours.
