Meet Teddy, a handsome, happy-go-lucky pup with a big personality and an even bigger zest for life. At just 10 months old and around 12 pounds, Teddy is still growing and will likely fill out a bit more as he matures. Teddy was surrendered when his previous family could no longer keep up with his playful energy. While he was said to be a Maltese, we believe he may be a Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie mix). He has a soft, non-shedding coat that will require regular grooming, and he’s just as adorable freshly trimmed as he is with a shaggy, tousled look—sometimes even resembling a little Schnauzer. Teddy is confident, outgoing, and full of fun. He’s a bit of a “wild child” right now due to a lack of structure in his previous home, but he’s incredibly smart and very food-motivated, which makes him a great candidate for training. With consistency, boundaries, and guidance, he’s going to thrive and grow into an amazing companion. He loves to play, enjoys being around other dogs, and would do best in an active home that can match his energy. He’s also affectionate, cuddly, and rides well in the car, making him a great buddy for both adventures and downtime. Teddy is still working on house and crate training and will need a family with a flexible schedule to help him succeed. His ideal home would have a yard, plenty of time for play and exercise, and ideally another dog to keep him company. Teddy is looking for a committed home ready to help him become his best self.
