About Luna

Luna—sometimes called Luna Eclipse—might be an Australian Brindled Hound, a Brindle Labrador Retriever, or a mix of both. She’s a sweetheart who sticks close like Velcro, always seeking out attention and affection from her people. Currently, Luna is in a foster home with a family preparing for their first baby. The foster family says she’s house trained and walks nicely on a leash, but what really stands out is her intense need to be close by—expect a lot of snuggling, leaning, or simply sharing your space. Luna’s past wasn’t easy; she comes from an abuse and neglect case. Despite rough beginnings, she’s left her scared days behind and is ready for a loving home. At about 2 years old and spayed, Luna weighs roughly 55 pounds and has a short brindle coat. She’s got loads of energy and loves toys, with a strong drive for play. Luna doesn’t show aggression around toys or during handling and is easy to redirect with a treat. She enjoys fetch, follows basic commands, and settles in for cuddles after playtime. Luna does best as the only dog in the home and gets along well with children. She’s looking for an adopter who can keep up with her high drive for activity and give her the love she deserves after all she’s been through. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
