Why this pet is the one for you:Say hello to Haze, a sweet, active girl in search of a calm, patient home to help her feel safe and understood. New environments and unfamiliar people can be overwhelming for her, but with slow introductions, soft voices and plenty of tasty treats, she warms up and shows her affectionate side. Once comfortable, Haze walks nicely on leash and enjoys pets. She's more of a "quiet home" kind of dog and would do best in a low-traffic setting with older children who can respect her space. Haze has been known to be selective about her dog friends, so she's looking for a home where she can be your one and only canine companion. She's not a candidate for dog parks or other off-leash venues, but there are plenty of other activities you can do together to strengthen your bond! If you recognize Haze, it is because she is a bit of a local star, having been featured on NBC 7 as their Pet of the Week. She did great in the TV studio and greeted everyone with a wiggly body. With structure, understanding and gentle guidance, this lovely girl is sure to blossom into a loyal and loving friend.
