How this pet arrived:This pet was brought in by a community member on August 2, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Penelope, a bundle of joy with a big heart and an even bigger personality! She greets everyone with a happy wag and loves heading out for walks, sniffing all the new smells and meeting new people. Penny walks nicely on leash, is house-trained and knows how to settle down for a nap after some fun. This energetic girl is full of playfulness - she loves toys, games of tug-of-war and anything that makes her tail wag! Penny is always ready for an adventure and would love a home with people (or playful animal friends) who can match her enthusiasm and zest for life. She does have chronic dry eyes, so she'll need a family who can continue providing her with daily eye medication, but this doesn't slow her down one bit! Penelope is also a bit of a local star, having been featured on NBC 7 as their Pet of the Week. She's waiting to be your best friend and will lean into pets, play fetch or just keep you company.
