How Nike arrived: Nike was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team on November 21, 2025. Why Nike is the one for you:Looking for a running buddy who lives up to his name? Meet Nike, a handsome boy who is ready to just do it when it comes to adventure. This boy has energy to spare, a goofy streak a mile wide and a big appetite for both snacks and fun. If you're an active person who enjoys walks, hikes and time outdoors, Nike is ready to lace up and go! Nike can be very excited when it's time to head out. He may jump, bark or sing you the song of his people in anticipation. With a few treats and a quick sit, he is ready to roll. He may pull and bounce at the start of a walk, but once he's outside and able to sniff and settle, he finds a much steadier rhythm. He responds well to treats and already knows "sit" and "paw," and he's eager to learn more. On outings, Nike has shown that he loves exploring parks and trails. He jumps right into the car, rides with excitement and enjoys sniffing, sticks and chasing tossed toys. Nike bonds fairly quickly, especially if you come bearing hot dogs or cheese. He enjoys attention but can get a little mouthy and jumpy when overly excited, so he'll do best with someone who can give positive redirection and keep things structured. He thrives with activity and mental engagement and would love a home that can help him channel his energy in positive ways.
