He is a soulful, devoted boy who expresses his love with full-body wiggles, soft eyes, and a habit of resting his head right on your leg to let you know he's ready for affection. When he's not on a mission to investigate the world, he is a world-class napper who snores like a rainy afternoon and will happily melt into your lap for chin scratches and ear rubs. Because he is so enthusiastic about life, Mr. Fantastic is looking for a partner who can help him channel his exuberant nature into positive habits. He is a curious explorer who treats every walk like a grand expedition, often stopping to inspect every leaf and pebble with the focus of a scientist. He can get quite excited when it's time to head out, sometimes showing his joy by jumping up or playfully tugging on his leash, but he is incredibly motivated by snacks and already knows "sit" and "paw." He has found that carrying a favorite soft toy in his mouth on walks helps him stay focused and calm, and he'll do almost anything for a special treat like cheese, hot dogs, or a fresh ice cube from the fridge. Mr. Fantastic is still working on his house manners and leash etiquette, so he will thrive with a patient adopter who enjoys the training process and can provide a consistent routine. He is a sensitive guy who might hide behind your legs if he's overwhelmed, but he quickly bounces back with a little encouragement and a "baby voice." Due to his strong interest in chasing things like squirrels and leaves, he is not suitable for a home with small animals or cats.
