About Stella
Stella landed in rescue after a neighbor realized she and another dog had been left alone when their owner was hospitalized. Stella, a Great Pyrenees, waited out five days in the shelter before making her way to foster care. She's been recovering in Murphy, NC, and is just about ready to move to the main facility in Claremont. She still has some stitches to be removed at the end of April, but after that, she'll be cleared for adoption. Stella gets along with dogs, cats, and children. She is house trained and used to household life, and her long coat is as classic as the breed. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s already proven adaptable, Stella’s a great choice. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
