Courtesy Post for Owner: Diesel is 15 years old, neutered, microchipped, and has been an indoor-only cat his entire life. He does not do well with other animals, so he would need to be in a home where he is the only pet. He can be very shy at first, but once he feels safe and trusts you, he becomes incredibly affectionate and loves to cuddle. I’ve had Diesel for over 10 years, and he is a huge part of my life, so this is not an easy decision for me. Unfortunately, I am dealing with serious medical issues and will likely need a bone marrow transplant. Because of that, I won’t be able to be around cats for an extended period (at least 100 days), and I don’t have anyone who can care for him during that time. Given these circumstances, I want to make sure he is placed in a safe, stable, and loving environment.
