About Whiskey
Whiskey showed up out of the woods in Soddy Daisy, thin and clearly on his own for a long time, yet still open to people and looking for help. He’s about 4.5 years old and has the classic look and presence of a purebred German Shepherd. Currently, Whiskey weighs 61 pounds, but he’ll likely fill out to around 80 pounds with proper nutrition. The team is using a slow feeder to help him pace himself at mealtime because he’s still learning not to inhale his food. He seems to enjoy social interaction and is especially good with children, showing a gentleness and readiness for family life that isn’t always guaranteed after a rough start. He also gets along with other dogs, making him a solid candidate for homes with other pets. Whiskey is still working on house training, so expect some patience and routine as he settles into a new environment. This guy was born June 26, making him a Cancer, which explains some of that tender, loyal side. He’s vaccinated, neutered, and adoption comes with a veterinary exam and preventive care to get him started on the right foot. He’s waiting in Chattanooga, TN for a home that can help him finish his recovery and give him a solid place to belong. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
