About Shaman
Shaman carries the wisdom his name suggests. Adopted as a kitten from Paws and Claws in 2018, he’s now back and looking for a new place to call home. Independent and territorial, Shaman did not adjust to living with a small dog, so a dog-free house suits him best. He got along well with teens and thrived with gentle, older children. At 8 years old, he hasn’t lost his playful side—crinkle balls and wand toys still get him moving. Shaman prefers his own space but also seeks out affection when he’s in the mood, often sleeping close but happy to snooze alone as well. He’s smart, adapts quickly to routines, and isn’t shy about asking for a snack. A good eater, Shaman leans toward the cuddly side of the scale, so a new family should partner with their vet for a reasonable feeding and exercise schedule to help manage his weight. He’s a healthy cat otherwise, neutered, vaccinated, and fully house trained. He’s hoping his next adoption will be his forever. Born October 13, Shaman is a Libra—remarkably balanced for a feline with so much character. He’s waiting in Rochester, MN. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
