Sandy is a sweet little girl looking for her best friend. She is shy at first, but once she warms up she is snuggly, affectionate and playful! She does well with the other dogs in her foster home and would do well as the only dog or with fur siblings. She has not met cats, but her foster mom does not think it would be an issue. While Sandy loves her person, she would prefer a quiet home without a lot of action as she can be fearful at times - no young children. She is working on potty training and doing great! Sandy is estimated to be 2 years old and is a 10 pound Chihuahua/Dachsund mix (our best guess). She likes to spend her days cuddling and giving you kisses, sleeping under a blanket next to you, or running around exploring in the yard. She would be fine without a yard with regular walks/outdoor trips. She likes to play with toys occasionally, but is overall a lower energy dog that just wants to be with her person.
