Xena is a beautiful 2-year-old German Shepherd mix with a heart as lovely as her looks. She’s a total sweetheart—gentle and friendly with everyone she meets, both people and dogs. Xena is 2 years old and weighs 57 lbs. Hope you’re not looking for a guard dog as we haven’t even heard her bark in her foster home! She happily welcomes visitors and loves being part of the family. Xena walks beautifully on leash using just a flat collar. While squirrels and birds definitely catch her attention, she stays polite and doesn’t pull to chase them. This well-mannered girl sleeps peacefully in her crate at night, is fully house-trained, and confidently uses dog doors in her foster home. She’s also not a door-bolter, even if a gate or door is accidentally left open. Smart and food-motivated, Xena is a quick learner who makes training fun and easy. She looks forward to her daily walks and rides calmly in the car, making her a wonderful companion for adventures big and small.
