Meet Ginger 🐾 Ginger is a 2–3-year-old Beagle with a gentle heart and an incredible story of resilience. She and her companion, Rusty, approached a stranger searching for help—both severely underweight and infested with fleas and ticks. Ginger had suffered a serious injury, likely from being hit by a car, leaving her hip badly damaged. A compassionate Good Samaritan stepped in and gave them both a second chance. Due to the severity of her injury, Ginger underwent a Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO)—a surgery that removes the damaged portion of the hip joint to relieve pain and allow healing. Through it all, Ginger has remained sweet, trusting, and full of love. She’s recovering beautifully and learning to navigate life after surgery. Ginger is: • Heartworm negative • Up to date on vaccinations • Will be spayed prior to adoption She will be available for adoption after June 15 and is looking for a patient, loving home that will support her continued recovery and give her the life she deserves. Ginger and Rusty share a special bond and can be adopted together, but they can also go to separate homes if needed.
