Are you looking for a pocket-sized hippopotamus? Look no further than Lola! Weighing in at 48 pounds (though she could certainly stand to gain a few more), and standing at barely a foot tall, Lola is a perfectly petite and squishy little lady who is happy to soak up all of the affection. On a recent Doggy Day Out, Lola was pampered with a spa day and a visit to Three Dog Bakery in Broadripple. While she was a bit apprehensive of the water, she enjoyed the scrub and massage. The many kisses from the Bow Wow Meow staff members certainly helped to improve her overall experience. She was very polite in accepting treats from the bakery staff as well. While she needed some assistance and encouragement to get into the car, she was a perfect passenger princess and reportedly alternated between napping, squeaking a toy, and watching the world go by out the window. Lola has previously lived with another dog, whom she came in with (Zaza). She is looking for a home without cats. It is unknown whether or not she has lived with children. Adoptions are free and include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home.
